Lotions, Creams and Gels

Lotions: Lavender & Myrrh or Manuka

Our Lotions have been designed for use in-between MicroNeem baths / Melts to help with Fungal skin problems. A small amount is applied 2-3 times a day and rubbed gently into the skin. Our Lotions are light, non-greasy and easily absorbed by the skin.

We've recently introduced a new and improved version of these Lotions. By adding Calendula Oil to the base, we've made it even more effective. Calendula is great for sore, itchy, inflamed skin conditions, also for dry / cracked nipples. In tests, skin is healing more quickly with this new version than with the original ones.

These Lotions have proved to be particularly effective around senstive eye, ear and nose areas where Fungal problems often occur. The Lavender & Myrrh Lotion is also useful for guineas under 12 weeks with Fungal skin problems as Melts are not recommended for guineas under this age.

Manuka Lotion produces good results where there are Fungal skin problems and has proved to be particularly useful where the problem is Ringworm. Where the skin is dry / cracked / scurfy, the Lavender & Myrrh Lotion would be more appropriate.

Super Souffle Cream

A rich, moisturising cream with Avocado and Calendula Oil. Designed to soften hard crusty skin where there is a bad Fungal infection. It can also help to keep the skin moist and prevent the dry skin /Fungal spores spreading everywhere.
Where there is a severe Fungal problem with crusts, this cream can help to soften the crusty areas before you attempt to give your guinea a shampoo. Also useful for dry ears and crusty nipples. Can be used on all piggies including pregnant sows and babies as it does not contain any Essential Oils.

Available in 50gm or 100gm pots. Larger sizes available on request

Soothe Gel

Soothe Gel is now available in 3 different varieties:

Aloe Vera Gel - plain gel, no essential oils, so safe to use on pregnant sows. It is soothing, cooling and can help to reduce heat and redness in the skin. Can be used on pregnant sows.

Neem Gel - Aloe Vera Gel with Neem and Lavender. Brilliant for calming irritated skin where there is a lot of scratching / scabbing. Check out the amazing success stories with this gel! DO NOT USE ON PREGNANT SOWS.

Soothe Gel - the original version with Lavender and Niouli pure essential oils to help soothe minor cuts and abrasions. DO NOT USE ON PREGNANT SOWS

Apply the gel two or three times daily until the condition improves.
