This shampoo was inspired by Karen at Reading Guinea Pig Rescue who hassled Chrissie for many months to produce a high class protein shampoo for her piggies!  Read the story behind the shampoo here.  

Designed especially for guineas with long / flyaway hair, this shampoo is stuffed full of active ingredients including:

D-Panthenol - this gives the hair shine, improves manageability, and provides long lasting moisturisation.  Studies have shown that although single applications of Panthenol have an effect, multiple applications give better results.  Panthenol is deposited on the hair and also penetrates the hair shaft accumulating in the hair.

Phytokeratin - penetrates into the hair helping to improve its appearance and provide moisturisation, giving it sparkle and bounce.

Balsam Conditioner  - liquid hair conditioner for soft, silky hair.
