"The challenge began when Chrissie remarked how fantastic Ziggy
(Peruvian) looked at a show. He did, but he was a "Co-Op Pro V" Piggy, not a
Gorgeous Guinea. Whilst Gorgeous Guineas shampoo was good for his skin and coat, it
didn't have that extra something.
I had my first encounter with Protein shampoo as a dog groomer
- the Afghans I looked after had a similar coat to Peruvians and we used Body
Shop Protein shampoo (diluted well) on them. This stood me in good stead for
bathing guineas!
Ziggy has a typical Peruvian coat and the only shampoo that made him
look his best, unfortunately contained chemicals. Gorgeous Guineas Posh
'n' Go has given him
lasting shine and the much sought after body not achieved by the other
shampoos. Olivia (Peruvian) is not a typical Peruvian being a big ball of fluff! Gorgeous Guineas
Posh 'n' Go has tamed her coat without making it look greasy. The effect of the
shampoo - shine and texture, has lasted over a wheek, longer than the other Gorgeous
Guineas
shampoos. According to the ingredients used, the hair should be stronger after
several shampoos too.
Molly is a 5 year old Texel who had brittle hair that was dry and
lifeless - Gorgeous Guineas shampoos were good, but never this good. Her coat is
now soft and has a sheen and gloss that we haven't seen for three years.
I'm
sure this isn't supposed to be an anti-ageing shampoo but it has made Molly's
hair look years younger - feeling is believing!
Henry (Sheltie) has an extremely fine coat that goes lank easily. Posh'n'Go seems to have added volume to his normally fine hair, and it has
stayed like this for over a wheek. He will benefit most from this as he has
brittle hairs - not life threatening, but not nice for a Pampurred Pig:)
