We don't recommend that you use any products containing Essential Oils
during piggy pregnancy as they haven't been tested for safety.
For pregnant humans, there are restrictions on the Essential Oils that
can be used during each of the trimesters, so for piggies we always err
on the side of caution.
None
of the products below contain any Essential
Oils and can be used to help pregnant sows
with Fungal skin problems.

Lotion
For Pregnant Sows
This Lotion has been designed especially for pregnant sows and contains
no essential oils. A small amount is applied twice daily and rubbed
gently into the skin. Lotions are particularly effective on fungal ears and around the eye area, and can also be used on other small fungal areas.
Super
Souffle Cream
A rich, moisturising cream with Avocado and Calendula Oil. Designed to
soften hard crusty skin where there is a bad fungal infection. It can
also help to keep the skin moist and prevent the dry skin / fungal
spores spreading everywhere.
Where there is a severe fungal problem with crusts, this cream can
help to soften the crusty areas before you attempt to give your guinea
a shampoo.
Tamanu
Gel
Tamanu Gel has been designed to help pregnant sows with fungal skin
problems. It is gentle and soothing, but contains no essential oils.
Apply the gel two or three times daily until the condition improves.
CONTAINS NUT OIL: DO NOT USE if you have a NUT ALLERGY.
Base Conditioning
Shampoo
Kind and gentle to your guinea's skin during pregnancy. This is the
same shampoo base that we use for our Conditioning Shampoo, but without
the essential oils.
Aloe Vera
Gel
Aloe Vera Gel - soothing, cooling and can help to reduce heat and
redness in the skin.
Available
in assorted sizes.
