At this guinea-friendly practice (affectionately known as "Pig City" because of the number of guineas they treat!), they are used to seeing piggies that have travelled long distances for treatment.  The nurses are very good at stepping in and syringe feeding piggies if the don't start eating immediately after operations. They also stock a small range of Gorgeous Guineas products.

Jenny Towers (Clinical Manager) is very caring and enthusiastic about guinea pigs.  Jenny can do X-rays, dental work and lance abscesses without anaesthetic.  Jenny is also good at diagnosing / treating piggies and regularly operates successfully on guineas.  Common operations include castrations, bladder stones, removal of lumps etc, and her stitching is very neat.  Jenny regularly treats RSPCA Guinea Pigs as well as Chrissie's own Gorgeous Guineas.

Sally Ward joined the practice during 2008 and is an experienced surgeon. At the end of 2008 Sally castrated a couple of boars very successfully and did a very neat job with the internal stitching. Both boars were bouncing around when they were picked up a few hours after their operations. One of the boars (my own Mr Happy) was 5.5 years old at the time of his "little operation" - he sailed through the op and is now happily living with Little Miss Nosey. Sally can also lance abscesses and do X-rays without anaesthetic.

Hannah Hatreed joined the practice in 2007 fresh out of Vet School. Hannah is good at diagnosing piggy problems and understands the importance of a good dose of antibiotics and pain relief when required. Hannah recently castrated some RSPCA Guinea Pigs and made a very neat job of the stitching (July 2009).
